Manufacturing

Our products are manufactured both locally and globally. We carefully select our manufacturing partners to ensure our products are high quality and a fair value.

Cystorchis sp. Borneo is a lesser-known jewel orchid species from the rainforests of Borneo, valued for its rich, patterned foliage and rarity among terrarium collectors.

  • Light: Prefers low to medium indirect light, mimicking the dappled shade of its native rainforest floor. Avoid direct sun, which will scorch the leaves.
  • Moisture: Likes consistently moist soil, never waterlogged. Water when the top layer starts to dry, and mist regularly to replicate humid forest floor conditions.
  • Humidity: Needs high humidity, ideally 70-85%, making closed or mostly closed terrariums essential for long-term success.
  • Potting medium: A well-draining, airy mix of sphagnum moss, orchid bark, and perlite supports healthy roots while holding enough moisture.
  • Temperature: Prefers warm, stable conditions between 20-27°C, away from cold drafts or sudden temperature swings.

A rare find for serious jewel orchid collectors looking to add something truly uncommon to their terrarium.
