Manufacturing

Ludisia discolor Variegated is a rare form of the classic jewel orchid, featuring deep burgundy leaves streaked with eye-catching pink and white variegation, a standout centerpiece for any terrarium.
- Light: Prefers low to medium indirect light. Variegated leaves are more prone to scorching than the standard form, so keep it well out of direct sun.
- Moisture: Likes consistently moist soil, never soggy. Water when the top of the soil starts to dry, and mist occasionally to keep humidity up around the foliage.
- Humidity: Does well at moderate to high humidity, around 60-75%, and adapts more easily to open terrariums than some other jewel orchids, though a closed setup encourages the best variegation.
- Potting medium: A loose, well-draining mix of sphagnum moss, orchid bark, and perlite supports healthy roots and prevents rot.
- Temperature: Grows best between 18-26°C, away from cold drafts and sudden temperature changes.
A relatively easier jewel orchid to grow, prized for its unique variegated foliage.
