With its irregular contours, weathered appearance, cavities and natural textures, Shrimp Wood is ideal for creating landscapes that look established rather than artificially arranged. The larger pieces work particularly well as feature wood or a central hardscape element, providing instant height, structure and visual impact.
In aquascaping, Shrimp Wood can be combined with rocks, substrate and aquatic plants to create forest, riverbank and nature-style layouts. Its textured surfaces provide excellent opportunities for attaching aquatic mosses, Anubias, Bucephalandra and other epiphytic plants.

Important Natural-Wood Note
As Shrimp Wood is a natural product, every piece will vary in size, shape, texture, colour, holes and branching. The piece you receive may therefore differ from representative photographs.
For aquarium use, natural wood should be thoroughly cleaned and appropriately prepared/soaked before introduction into the aquarium. Some pieces may initially float and require soaking or anchoring until fully waterlogged. Natural wood may also release tannins into the water; this is a normal characteristic of many natural woods.
